The Aputure STORM 1000c RGB-Bi-Colour LED features the new BLAIR-CG chipset giving an impressive colour temperature range of 1800k to 20,000K. The BLAIR-CG chip set adds cyan and green emitters to the standard five-channel BLAIR engine, expanding it into a seven-channel system (Blue, Lime, Amber, Indigo, Red, Cyan, and Green) that enables full saturated colour control and precise gel matching and allowing a wide range of colours to be produced along with dial-in saturation and intensity control.

The addition of cyan and green diodes provides a dedicated secondary axis for precise green-magenta hue adjustments and colour accuracy – by including a dedicated Green emitter right on the chip, BLAIR-CG lights can add pure, high-fidelity green light in 1% increments. This allows you to dial in the exact amount of “plus-green” needed to blend perfectly with the ambient fluorescent tubes.
